Demand Studios is a great writing job for people who are new to publishing online, as well as those experienced writers who are looking to build their writing portfolio. Many writers work for Demand Studios to supplement their income, but it can also become a source of full-time income.

Demand Studios hires freelance writers, copy-editors and filmmakers to publish content to sites, including eHow, Answerbag, Livestrong, and Trails. The majority of assignments on Demand Studios are paid flat fees, ranging from &7.50 to $15.00 USD, depending on word count required and format. However, some assignments are revenue shared, in which you earn a portion of the advertising income Demand Studios receives from your articles. With revenue share articles, you have the opportunity to earn more than a flat fee for your article.

Elan Potter :
One of the places I write for is Demand Studios. My largest chunk of income comes from doing a combination of flat fee and user created revenue share articles; the second best source is Family Made Fresh, followed by WiseGEEK and local writing gigs.

Although I believe it is possible to make a full time income solely at Demand Studios, many writers need to work in a variety of outlets just to keep things fresh and, ultimately, be more productive.
